Installation of the MineColonies mod is very simple. If all these additional mods, configs, scripts, and the server.dat are downloaded and installed manually, you will be able to connect to our official server.

You can visit the CurseForge site for a zip file containing all mods (with the correct versions) we are currently using on the official server, as well as all the appropriate configs, scripts, and the server.dat file for our modpack official server. I have used MultiMC to play BTW for years, as have many other longtime players including Dawnraider herself. It arranges all of your Minecraft version in a tidy, customizable box, and mods can be installed with the click of a button. MultiMC feels like the launcher Mojang should have given us years ago. Thankfully, a group of dedicated Minecrafters have come together to produce a third party launcher specifically designed for players that like to mod the game and keep many different versions of Minecraft at the same time. As old launcher installation methods become increasingly muddled and outdated, it has become necessary to find a more stable means of installing and playing Better Than Wolves. Microsoft has abandoned us old fashioned players.
